here's a photo of my hair for all those who requested. i know it's hard to see the color, but i used the camera on the imac and the "photo booth" program that the kids have gone gaga over!
it's my first professional color job in awhile, usually i go with drugstore color as i'm a) not wealthy enough to change my color as frequently as i like and b) i'm extremely fickle with haircolor. actually, i'm extremely fickle with hair styles as well.
off to school to be with my kids! i've got some great art done by s that i need to share soon.

That is a nice picture of you. I do like the color and it looks silky smooth. Did your hairdresser straighten it for you too, or do you just do it yourself?

I was hoping you would post a picture of the haircut. Hope I'll be able to see the color in person. Looks really great. Our St. Bernard spent the day with us and then left. Good thing the animal control officer didn't come - I found out this a.m. that the dog belongs to Ted and Mary Hosner. No I.D.!!!

gmcm-- oh, i blew it out and ironed it this am. but the cut looks really cute curly, too. :)

mom-- it'll be all shaggy & raggy by the time you see it.
autumn's mom-- got cowlicks? my forehead is more of a fivehead, so anything that will swoop over it is GOOD.

I think it's GORGEOUS, it suits you so well, Melissa, and your hair stylist has done a really great job! I am very partial to long hair as you know, but I wouldn't mind having my hair as short as yours, I really like the style!

lotus-- thank you thank you! i'm happy with it, too. i'm partial to both long AND short, so i grow it long then cut it off and the cycle begins again. leaves me with a constantly changing array of styles... just what i need. the good thing about it being almost to my chin is that it grows quickly and easily from this point on.
booklogged-- LOVING the mac. hardly any adjustment since it's really my initial operating system, and i work on one all the time.
da mommy-- it was actually not too terribly different than my hair had been looking lately, just shaped and colored better. the only time they freak out is when i chop it ALL off.
