yesterday we threw in the towel while ordering much-needed ink for the work printer. we needed the package overnight, and to add a whole printer to the overnight order only added $2 to the shipping costs, so we bit.
now it's all prettily installed, and printing all the receipts and necessaries that have been awaiting printing for the past, oh, 6 months. yeeehaw! i'm so excited, i feel almost normal again.

How does normal feel? It's been a very long time for me. Yippe about the printer.
Yeaaay, that must feel soooo good! We have two printers on the blink at the moment and I am excited at the prospect of ordering a new one. hahaha, I'm just laughing at how having new printers is making us giddy with joy! ;)
I loved your title - someday my prints will come. Very catchy. A new printer is almost as much fun as a new fridge or wash machine. I know how hard it is to live without a printer (can you believe that I said that??). Enjoy!!
YAY! It works! I like your title too. :)
booklogged-- i'm not sure i've ever felt entirely normal, but having something that's gone awry go BACK to being normal, it's kind-of like a gear slipping back into place. soothing and placating, somehow.
lotus-- maybe we need to start a new meme: you know you're getting old when...
mom-- do you know how to USE a printer?! just kidding! i know you do 'cause you and dad print everything and place it in a file folder instead of saving it to a computer in your mail server or on your hard drive. :)
beenzzz-- i can't even begin to explain the resulting relief when i installed it... and then... IT WORKED! sigh.
Wow, I totally missed the connection with the title. DUH! Very clever, Melissa.
